I wouldn’t personally write a book in a month, but there are successful authors who do it like Sean Platt, who can write circles around most writers in the universe. The guy writes 10,000 words a day and is as technically sharp as anyone in the industry.
It’s all relative. The market responds to short and long lengths between initial writing and publishing. The quality produced underneath each model varies widely, too. You can spend 3 years writing a bad book.
