I'm still bought in on Medium as a piece of my overall strategy, but yeah I don't rely on it for my entire income at all anymore.

I advise other people not to either.

There was a brief window where you could just write and make $10-20k a month, but it looks like that has closed.

Looks like writers will have to supplement their income just like other writers have had to since blogging was a thing.
