This is an interesting angle to take on an article. Most of the time racism is looked at as an in-group out-group issue between difference races, but this bias definitely occurs within subsets too. Maybe even more at times. It reminds me of the Hutu and Tutsi tribes of Rwanda who are pretty much exactly the same but hate each other. Interesting piece.
