Don’t focus on him focus on the larger point. (He doesn’t advise men to beat women at all btw & violence against women isn’t something he advocates for at all. Totally understand why you’d think that though.) Hate him all you want. Hate all the other controversial people like trump, too. Got it.

But most people don’t look under the hood to see what helped cause the rise of these people.

It’s insincere advice and a society filled with propaganda that causes people to turn to men like him.

The details of tate and his legitimacy aren’t really the main point of what I was trying to get at anyway.

The overall point is that there’s a counter reaction happening based on men being told lies our whole lives about what works and what doesn’t.

On top of that, even if you have the best of intentions, stepping out as a male role model for other men automatically makes you a little suspect, so many don’t want to take on the role of actually telling the truth.

Double on top of that, men are more receptive to this sort of advice when it comes from other men so we need men in the space.

But we gotta stop telling lies, period. The typical advice aka be a simp doesn’t work at we all know it.
